NASA’s Prototype Morpheus Lander crashed on a test flight today at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. In this video you can see it lift off, rise about 10 feet in the air, and then tip over before crashing into the ground and exploding. A larger explosion followed a few moments later. Luckily nobody was injured in the accident but the vehicle, which cost $500,000, was a complete loss.
Morpheus uses engines that run off of “Green” fuels, like liquid oxygen and liquid methane. The entire program cost $7 Million and may very well be the next vehicle on the moon.

They didn’t tell us about that, when boasting about the Mars lander………………..
