San Francisco to get a380’s from Singapore Airlines

Singapore Airlines has announced that San Francisco will be it's next destination to see the Airbus a380 Super Jumbo Jet. Beginning December 28th of this year, Singapore Airlines Flights 001 and 002, from Singapore Changi, with a brief stop in Hong Kong, will utilize the a380. The flights currently use Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. As of right now, the upgrade to the a380 will be on a seasonal basis, from December to March. The route will then switch back to a Boeing 777 for the Spring and Summer.  San Francisco is no stranger to the a380. The airport sees the type on flights from Frankfurt, Germany on Lufthansa.
