Update: Nigerian Government Suspends Dana Air after Crash

See Original Post: Nigeria Plane Crash The government of Nigeria announced today that it has suspended Dana Air's operating license indefinitely. This was done as a safety precaution as investigators try to determine exactly what brought the jet down. The decision comes just days after the country's worst aviation disaster in years, in which an MD-83 crashed on final approach into Lagos, killing at least 163 people. The captain, who is believed to have been a U.S. Citizen had well over 18,000 flight hours with over 7,000 in the MD-83.
