4 People injured as Virgin Atlantic Flight makes Emergency Landing

Four people were injured today when a Virgin Atlantic flight was forced to return to London and make an emergency landing while en route to Florida. At least 4 of the 300 passengers onboard sustained injuries while evacuating via the aircraft via the inflatable slides. The flight, Virgin 27, was forced to return to London's Gatwick airport after reports of a fire onboard the Airbus a330. The extent of the injuries aren't known. The incident caused the airport to stop operations for over an hour, but the airport has since been reopened using a different runway. the Associated Press contributed to this post
